Sunday put a real dampener on the weekend, literally, as the heavy downpours meant postponements for our U14 & U10 girls and U13 boys. 🌧️🌧️ Though Friday and Saturday’s fine weather meant our youth teams & minis got a good run out.

Plus, our U11 boys and U12 girls had a brilliant weekend travelling to Dublin to support the Irish men as they beat Wales ☘️☘️

Here’s the games that did go ahead:

Castleisland 19 - ⭐️ MEN’S FIRSTS 15

Disappointment for our first team as they came so close against Castleisland. Two tries for Brian O’Donnell and a con and a peno from Dylan Lacey weren’t enough to help the boys advance to the next round of the Munster Cup.

Ballincollig 10 - ⭐️ MEN’S SECONDS 27

A great win on Friday night for our all conquering second team. They’re in a great position now in their J3 league with a few games remaining. Conor Forde, Louis Murphy, David O’Leary, Calum Fennell and Cian Looney with the tries, Cathal O’Leary with the extras. 👏👏

⭐️ U16 BOYS 17 - Clonakilty 15

The U16s did enough to power on in the Plate. A try for Lucas Harrington, and a try, 2 cons and a peno for Josh Lehane won the day for our hard working 16s. 💪💪

Finally, well done to Seren Glavin and Jessica Kearney who represented Kinsale playing for the West Cork Rebellettes who won against Kanturk in the first round of the U16 Munster Ladies Cup. 👏👏

Let’s go Sharks!!
