While it was a hard weekend for our senior teams, our boys and girls had lots to cheer. A fantastic cup win for our U14 girls and great league performance from our U13 boys cheered us all up. Our minis enjoy blitzes too so it was a great weekend for development.

⭐️MENS FIRSTS 19 - Crosshaven 35

Relegated from the top junior division last year, Haven had a lot of class about them and took their chances. Disappointment for our boys but there’s time yet. 2 tries from David Looney and one from Evan O’Riordan, plus extras from Dylan Lacey, just weren’t enough on the day.

Cobh 7 - MENS SECONDS 3 ⭐️

A wild night for rugby saw a strong Cobh side squeak this one. Our seconds remain in a good place in the league.

🏆U14 GIRLS 19 - Bruff 10

A fantastic comeback performance from our girls 14s, putting them through to the next round v Clon this weekend. Tries from Hannah Murphy, Aine Dineen & Naomi O’Riordan, extras from Sophie McCarthy & Danielle De Hoyos on a great day for our growing girls sides.

⭐️U13 BOYS 38 - Cork Con 7

A great powerful performance in windy conditions on Saturday saw our u13 boys continue unbeaten in their A league. Two tries for Fionn McSherry, plus one each for Conor Boyle, Liam Tracey, Ryan Harrington & George McCarthy, with extras from Liam Tracey. The boys have a top of the table clash this weekend coming v Clon.

Our U12 boys hosted a blitz with a few sore heads (coaches and parents) after their big fundraising night in the White Lady on Friday night. It was great to see our U12 and U10 girls travel to blitzes, and all the other activity across the weekend. Special mention to Shannon O’Donoghue who got player of the blitz in Midleton 👏👏

Support across the weekend was immense and the First Team have asked to thank the many supporters who came out on Sunday to cheer them on. A great crowd. 🤩🤩
