We’re at the business end of the season now with leagues and cups beginning to resolve themselves. It was a mixed bag for our teams. See all the details below:

⭐️MEN’S FIRSTS 58 - Ballincollig 27⭐️

Our firsts had a good home win in the league to drive on in the league. 

A Joey O’Callaghan hat-trick, plus 2 for both David Looney and Dan Graham, as well as one try each for Dan Horgan and Cathal O’Leary made up the try scoring. Dylan Lacey hit 5 cons and a pen. 

⭐️Highfield 31 - MEN’S SECONDS 26⭐️

A comeback in the league for our seconds fell just short. Ruaidhri McCarthy got 2 tries. One each for Conor O’Callaghan and Fionn Aherne. Big milestone was the 3 Aherne brothers - Fionn, Conor and Senan - who all featured on the pitch.

🏆U16 BOYS 5 - Clonakilty 10🏆

Heartbreak in the Pan Munster Semi as our heroic U16s came up just short. A Cathal Hawkins try not enough to see our boys through to the final. 

🛡️Waterpark 37 - U16 GIRLS 7🛡️

Our U16 girls are out of the shield but what an effort it’s been for this trailblazing team. Hannah Murphy with the try.

⭐️Ballincollig 0 - U14 BOYS 36⭐️

A good return to form for our U14 boys who are going well in the League. Two tries for George McCarthy, one each for Cian Nagle, Conor Boyle, James Kingston, Ryan Harrington and Liam Treacy. Liam with the extras.

🏆U14 GIRLS 31 - Cobh 42🏆

Tough day but great support for our girls who have done well in the cup. Aine Dineen with 2 tries, one each for Faye Dineen, Naomi O’Riordan & Thea Phelan. Extras from Alice Kate O’Connell. 

Our minis teams travelled and trained, and our U12 girls had a great day out at a Blitz in Cobh. These girls are building nicely. 

Elsewhere, our youth girls and boys enjoyed a trip up to the Aviva to see a dominant and impressive France side play Ireland. 

And finally, Louie Shortall from our U13 boys team had a great day out at the Aviva too as he won an Irish Times competition to work in the press box for the big game. He even got to interview Josh Van Der Flier! Look out for his piece in the paper this week. 👏👏
