We’re delighted to welcome back to Kinsale our great friends from Newport, Rhode Island and the many members of Newport Rugby Club 🤩🤩

Since 1999 our US friends have visited us as part of Kinsale’s twinning with the beautiful town on America’s Atlantic coast. It’s been too long since we last hosted, but it’s great to see so many old friends after TWENTY FIVE successful years of transatlantic partnership and friendship. ❤️❤️

At a reception at the Kinsale Yacht Club this Thursday, club President Paul Kingston spoke about the enduring connection between our two towns, and the strong ties that have formed over 25 years.

Newport Rugby continues to grow and it’s great to see our American cousins continue to flourish.

Over 100 Newporters are in Kinsale this week as part of this long standing connection. If you bump into them, make sure you give them a big Irish welcome 👏👏
