Local Clinical Audiologist Ruth Hadley of Kinsale Hearing will travel to Iringa in Tanzania this October with a small team to help the lives of over 140 orphaned deaf children.
Local Clinical Audiologist Ruth Hadley of Kinsale Hearing will travel to Iringa in Tanzania this October with a small team to help the lives of over 140 orphaned deaf children.
The team will perform hearing tests, create ear molds and fit hearing aids for these children, in a life-changing intervention. Ruth and her colleagues will all be carrying out this work FOR FREE.
KRFC would like to support Ruth and her efforts in our community and beyond. Ruth will be coming along to our regular Super Sharks Saturday morning for minis on Saturday, September 14 (9.15am to 10.15am) as a fundraiser. There'll be a coffee morning & bake sale to support this worthy initiative so come along, say hi to Ruth and find out more about her incredible charity work.
